Studio Assistant

 

AS A STUDIO ASSISTANT…

You are a vital part of assisting the management and operations of the Assassin Tattoo & Piercing. It is important that you are a team player and are sociable, flexible and extremely helpful. It is your responsibility to make sure you take the extra steps to ensure studio management and consultant roles and services at met. Even at busy times, it is the studio assistant’s responsibility to handle the daily operations to make sure all studio procedures are followed and tasks are fulfilled.  Studio assistants should show a willingness to learn new things, follow instructions, multitask, and perform any job large or small. It is the studio assistant’s responsibility to liaise and report to the studio manager and (if appropriate) studio director in an accurate and timely manner whilst demonstrating excellent customer service.   The studio assistant’s contractual obligations of responsibilities are outlined in their agreements (i.e Schedule 1)

SCHEDULE 1

POLICY

  • Ensure day-to-day operations within the organisation adhere to the Assassin Tattoo & PiercingMission Statement and report any issues directly to the Studio Manager and Studio Director if this is not being delivered on all levels of the organisations
  • Ensure all day-to-day presence in the studio remains professional and tasks are done to ensure a safe environment for the team, consultants and clients. Report any concerns or issues in an appropriate and timely manner to the Studio Manager and Studio Director
  • Follow the Assassin Tattoo & Piercing open door policies and report any incidents to the Studio Manager and Studio Director in a timely manner
  • Follow and Implement Opening/Closing Procedures and Policies 

CONSULTANTS AND GUESTS

  • Assist and help consultants to ensure the services and client session runs smoothly and report any issues immediately to the Studio Manager and Studio Director in the first instance policies and protocols are not being followed
  • Assisting consultants with materials for services and assist to ensure consultant schedules run on time
  • Greet new guests and conduct studio tour and rule implementing induction if Studio Manager is not present on the first day
  • Ensure Guest Terms and Conditions forms and agreements are complete (including IDs) only if Studio Manager is not present on the first day
  • If applicable pass on any guest enquires to the Studio Manager and as required

CLIENT SERVICE AND CARE

  • Follow the Assassin Tattoo & Piercing outstanding level of customer service and care
  • Offer exceptional customer service and care whilst ensuring clients understand and agree their consent to the Assassin Tattoo & Piercing terms and conditions
  • Follow the open door policy and ensure a safe environment is in place for the client to offer the best experience in our studio.
  • Greeting Customers, ID-ing customers and provide forms (Client Deposit, Client Appointment, Client Terms and Conditions Agreement and Aftercare Forms).
  • Responding To general queries in person and on the telephone  Forward all management enquires to Studio Managers.
  • Ensure client payments are made at the front desk if the Studio Manager is not present and put payments in the safe
  • Maintaining and increasing high level standards of customer service
  • Offer and follow the Assassin Tattoo & Piercing Aftercare policy and terms to clients and report any issues immediately to the Studio Manager and Studio Director.
  • Report immediately any customer complaints and isolated comments to the Studio Manager and Studio Director.

ADMIN, ACCOUNTS AND SALES

  • Mange the overall state of the studio aesthetic in all its various forms and ensure implementations adhere to the Company Brand and report to the Studio Manager if maintenance work or replacements are required to maintain furniture and fixtures standards
  • Deal with daily sales and expense logging
  • If instructed, cash up till (with the presence of a Studio Manager or Studio Administrator)
  • Maintaining Appointments Calendar Schedule and Shop Floor Tasks Rota
  • Will need to be flexible on working days/hours should the company need to make
  • Any other general admin and accounting errands for the Studio Manager and Studio Administrator

MARKETING, PROMOTIONS AND DIGITALS

  • Create engaging and completing Social Media content (videos and pictures) for the studio  throughout the day and promote the studios, artists and walk-in traffic.
